Reason is the balance between superstition and reality. Therefore, believe in what you want but let the light of truth lead you to what you know and what you know is never enough and only faith remains, . . . more

HELLOOOOOO!
I'm not bragging. . .Well, yes I am. I believe I have the most eclectic Group--outofourshells--and People connections than any grouping on Gather.
It has been my pleasure to find and invite new people to mingle with those who have been with me for a while. It is my wish for you to use these groupings to your advantage. If you have a group of your own, please think of outofourshells as a second home. If you belong to other groups, please think of outofourshells when you publish. Anyone is welcome to join as long as they agree with the Group's
description--which is mainly to show respect and to remember arguing is not the same as fighting. It is more akin to debating.
I have tried to attract as diverse a population as possible. I want our group and connections to to educate--as well as--learn from each other.
Thank you for your joining up and I look forward to your offerings!
Sincerely,
Nyota
P.S. I am sending this article to all of the Groups with which I am connected. I don't want to miss anyone ([;p)] !

Richard,
I am all for mass transit. the problem is, too few people are. This is a real travisty. I mentioned Amtrak because it is federally funded rather than privatized and it's a real mess. Non-profit mght work but non-profits still need government assistance. I think bullet trains are great but this country is too resistant to mass transit which boggles my mind, it's a way of life everywhere else in the world but here.
No, this stupid country prefers to live in suburbs and builds more suburbs and then everyone gripes when gas goes too high. We are so spoiled. It really hits home when I travel abroad. I'm to the point where I hope escalating gas prices do motivate us to look at trains, for us to conserve, to maybe think about living closer to where we work and shop. It's worked well for every century up to the one we're in. I just wanted to clear up our misunderstanding, we proobably have more common ground than you think.

Gay's do!

"priest took advantage of girls also"
My response,
Really?
Got a link to that?

You asked,
"What does the Pope have to say about preist who rape children in third world countries"
.
My response is,
Real Priest do not engage in such horrific activities.
The men that do these things are gay predators
that have joined the Catholic church in order to gain
access to children. If you want to past judgment,
go to the source where these men come from,
the gay community!
